Premier League betting II - 4 Nov 2017

Southampton - Burnley, booking points under 30 @ 2.70 (PaddyPower)

Lee Probert has been in charge in three Premier League games this season, showing only two yellow cards in those. Including other English leagues, he’s been averaging only 21.5 points, and when I include previous season to extend the sample, I get only 25 points in average. On the grim side, Southampton and Burnley, both are above 30 points in average (this plus previous season), Southampton 33 and Burnley 41. However, at offered 2.70 I feel there’s a fair bit of value.

Championship betting - 7 Aug 2016

Sheff Wed - Aston Villa, Sheff Wed -0.25 at 1.93 (12Bet)
It’s certainly walking in the dark, but am going to believe my gut here. Sheff Wed have upgraded their team, with Steven Fletcher and Almen Abdi in particular. Last season they were rock solid at Hillsborough, having a total of only two defeats.
Aston Villa look arrogant and overpaid, they go to the pits and I don't think they’re ready for it. Players are in clash with the fans, and Di Matteo is a fake in my opinion. I think they’ll need some time to wake up and accept reality.

League One Betting - 6 Aug 2016

Bradford - Port Vale, Bradford -0.75 at 1.90 (188bet)
Two sides that will probably finish on two opposite sides of the table. Bradford lost in play-off final last season, now they have German consortium running the club, a new manager and eight signings have come in. On the other hand, Vale are the joint favourites to relegate with Oldham.
Nice opportunity for a strong start of campaign.

Champions League Betting - 02 Aug 2016

Crvena Zvezda-Ludogorets Razgrad, C.Zvezda and btts at 4.50 (bet365)
My team plays Bulgarian side Ludogorets, trying to beat 2-2 that we brought home from their soil. We have rubbish defence, with all four back players prone to errors (no really matter which 4 manager picks). Their defence is a little bit better, but still two slow side backs. Both sides have plenty of talent in midfield and front lines, with us being physically stronger (chance in set pieces) and them being quicker (counter attacks). They have more experience playing games like this, while we have packed stadium with 50k fans they didn’t use to play on.
I think this game has both teams to score written all over it, and I believe we can progress. I’m taking Red Star Belgrade as outcome and both teams to score at 4.50 (bet365).

FA CUP BETTING - 20 FEB 2016

Watford - Leeds, Watford -1.0ah at 2.00 (Pinnacle)
Watford look like they know their place, doing well against bottom half sides, losing against top level. And here’s second tier Leeds. Next EPL game is in 7 days, no need to rest anyone. Leeds had a lucky draw, past two bottom sides from Championship - Rotherham and Bolton. I’m on Watford -1.0 at evens. Like, 2-0 Watford.
