Everton manager David Moyes will spend £10m on Lokomotiv Moscow's Russian midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, 24. (The Sun) 
Moyes will also look to add a defender to his squad following Joleon Lescott's move to Manchester City - with Bolton's Gary Cahill and Middlesbrough pair David Wheater and Robert Huth under consideration.(The Times) 
Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is ready to make a £6m move for Newcastle defender Steven Taylor. (Daily Mirror) 
Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has given Villa a 48-hour deadline to come up with more than the £8m they have already offered for left-back Stephen Warnock. (Daily Mirror) 
West Ham are in talks to sell defender James Collins to Aston Villa for £5m, which will pave the way for Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh to join the Hammers for £7m. (Daily Telegraph)
West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola is also close to bringing in Barcelona striker Eidur Gudjohnsen on a season-long loan deal. (The Sun) 
Manchester City are close to sealing a deal for Barcelona's Brazilian full-back Sylvinho on a free transfer. (Daily Mail) 
Wigan have agreed a £5m fee with Crystal Palace for Victor Moses, 18, but the striker will spend the rest of the season on loan at Selhurst Park as part of the deal. (The Sun) 
Ivory Coast striker Aruna Dindane is set for a £4m deal with Portsmouth after the Premier League agreed to cover the deal with Pompey's television cash if the club fails to pay Lens on time.(The Sun)
