Premier League 26 Feb, Arsenal - Tottenham

a
Arsenal have won only one of their last ten meeting with Spurs, Wenger’s position is uncertain as never and they could even stay out of top-four. Spurs are in the better mood, they won’t win the title but will play in Champions League. Both sides play nice attacking football, had a free midweek and will have fresh legs. No reason why both sides shouldn’t go for all three points. Five of their last six league matches have finished with three or more goals (three of those with four or more). In last three visits to Emirates, Spurs were twice two goals down but once win and once grabbed a point.

Championship and League One betting, 25 Feb

a
Portsmouth - Leeds
Portsmouth are in big financial problems that, according to Liam Lawrence, do affect the players. They have been docked ten points (dropped into relegation zone), are also in administration, lost best striker to Birmingham and will be without striker Dave Kitson! Additionally, they’ve lost five matches out of last seven.
Leeds are coming to the town with Neil Warnock in charge. At their previous trip they lost vs. last placed Coventry, but at Elland against Donny whites made a big come back and won from 0-2 to 3-2. Allegedly, Warnock made a half-time speech in the dressing room. They seem to be in completely opposite trend than Pompey.
I am taking some coverage in case of a draw, but idea is to back Leeds.

Bet: Leeds -0.25
Odd: 2.00 (Pinnacle)
Stake: 8/10

Charlton - Stevenage
The Addicks are topping the table with seven points margin, but lately playing with their fans nerves making three draws out of last four in league. They’ll miss again striker Danny Haynes, but skipper johnnie Jackson is back. Defence line will also go to normal as right-back Solly returns to squad and Rhoys Wiggins will move to his natural position at the left side.
Stevenage lost their first game under Gary Smith, by a stoppage time goal at Notts County. Before that, they stopped Spurs at home in Cup (0-0) and this is their 3rd tough game for only six days. They won’t have fresh legs and not like they’re not going to need them today.
I am backing Charlton here at more than acceptable odd.

Bet: Charlton
Odd: 2.10 (Ladbrokes)
Stake: 7/10

FA Cup betting, Norwich - Leicester

a
Lambert stated that Premier League status is their prime objective, but the fact is they’re 8th with eleven points above the line and next league game is for eight days. Leicester are safe from relegation in Championship and nine points far from play-off. It looks like both sides could have a push for Cup competition. Both sides also have enough fire power and they probably wouldn’t like to play a repeat game. I expect an open match and go for goals.

Bet: Over 2.5
Odd: 1.88 (Pinnacle)
Stake: 9/10

Championship and League Two betting, 14th Feb

Brighton - Millwall
Brighton are undefeated in last nine competitive games and have three straight home wins (Leicester, Bristol City and Southampton). They’re bouncing back for play-off contention, currently one point below the line.
Millwall have only one win out of last eight in league and have failed to score in eight of last eleven matches.
Like the price and am backing Brighton.
Bet: Brighton -0.5
Odd: 2.15 (Pinnacle)
Stake: 7/10

Aldershot Town - Hereford United
Aldershot defeated AFC Wimbledon in previous round, before that had a streak of six games without winning and scoring.
Hereford recently look fine on the road with 2 wins and 2 draws out of last four and watching their mutual score, I’ve counted just one defeat (previous game) against Aldershot in previous 14 games (both home and away).
The Shots will give a debut to the three loan players, but anyway I think they don’t deserve to be below evens. I am taking United.

Bet: Hereford +0.25
Odd: 2.31 (Pinnacle)
Stake: 6/10

Championship betting, Blackpool - Portsmouth 11th Feb

Blackpool are playing nice, attacking football, they’re in a play-off zone and seem to be candidates for direct promotion. They’re also undefeated in eight competitive games and have three league wins in a row.
Pompey have been struggling on and off the field. And while their money problems and unpaid wages used to have positive impact on the squad, they also have three defeats out of last four in league. In this particular case, even travelling could be a problem since they played a game at Birmingham at Tuesday, returned home and went on a long journey to north. Some important players are rated as doubts.
Blackpool and Portsmouth are two clubs in the opposite trends, I expect a nice and safe home win.

Bet: Blackpool -0.75
Odd: 2.06 (188bet)
Stake: 7/10

Premier League betting, Blackburn - QPR 11th Feb

t
Not so good situation in Blackburn at all. Kean is under the fans protest and club not just they didn’t bring new players, but sold Ryan Nelsen to Spurs. Samba’s behaviour is critical and he’s out for this game (at least), while Gael Givet starts a three-match ban. That’s three important defenders and Rovers will be certainly struggling in the back line. Good thing is Yakubu is back.

Thankfully to better financial situation, QPR brought some experience and now look like a serious squad. I’m pretty sure they’ll stay. After an act of madness Cisse will miss out, as well as Helguson and DJ Campbell. But no worries in front, Zamora will take care of it with Taarabt as support. Only miss will be Luke Young at right-back.

Nine of 12 games at Ewood this season, finished with three or more goals (five out of last six). Same produced three of Hughes’ four games in QPR. Think Blackburn can’t keep it tight and both sides must fancy their chances. Goals, rather than QPR.

Bet: Over 2.5
Odd: 1.94 (Pinnacle)

Turkey betting, Istanbul BB – Karabukspor

Karabukspor are team to back at home and oppose away. At home they’re five wins in a row, away eleven defeats and a draw out of twelve games!
Istanbul have three wins out of last four in league, two consecutive at home and in previous at home defeated Fener.
Enough for me to accept the deal.

Championship betting, Burnley - Peterborough

a
Burnley are in a great shape recently and all of sudden, they’re just three points from a play-off zone. They have only one defeat out of last seven in league (it came at Elland Road with 10 men) and in all other games they kept a clean sheet. They’ve also conceded only one goal in last five games at Turf Moor.
Posh are in the opposite trend. They’re winless in last five, scored only three goals in those, have noticed three straight defeats and don’t have away win against top-half sides.
Usually hate to bet on any game when Posh are involved, but this looks too tempting...

Bet: Burnley -0.75
Odd: 1.97 (188bet)
Stake: 7/10

Premier League betting, WBA - Swansea

q
This is the match between horrible hosts and terrible visitors. Only Wigan have taken fewer points at home than WBA (seven and eight) and no one worse than Swans with six points out of eleven games on the road! In such constellation, both sides must fancy their chances. And both sides are far enough from relegation zone to be nervous and to have too conservative approach. WBA’s four of last five games (including Cup) ended with at least three goals, Swansea’s three out five. Swans also have conceded at least two goals in four of those five.
Feel the odds for goals are a bit higher than they should be. However, take some covering if they settle for 1-1 draw.

Bet: Over 2.25
Odd: 1.97 (Canbet)
Stake: 8/10
