Coventry won't be affraid. They're in a decent run, being defeated vs.Newcastle and last minute shocker vs.Cardiff.They have play-off hopes and confidence is high after scoring twice at Walkers last round.
WBA will be happy to see team that won't park the bus in front the goal.

At the first glance, two games in England shouldn’t be overlooked.
Can’t see how Newcastle can lose at Walkers.Haven’t checked team news, but even 20 injuries wouldn’t change my opinion.Odds look generous. Will decide between dnb and away win.
Everton on the road against Wigan.Good thing about Toffees is their results follow the trend. When they have injuries and start sinking, run away from them. When start improving then should be backed. They have very good dressing room atmosphere that wasn’t shook with Cup exit.Although Sunderland’s performance is really awful in these days,I think Everton definitely have enough strength to defeat Wigan. The fact first goalie for Latics will be again Stojkovic suggests a big possibility of goals.Away win and over in this one.
Again it’s my initial thoughts, take it with caution. But it worth a small bets for me.

Foxes started their returning season in Championship in a great manner and after some excellent results occupied high position. Leicester, however got two slaps from the direct opponents for the play-off zone. First, lost at their fortress – Walkers Stadium against Preston (1-2). Lads responded very well with the run of six games unbeaten, four wins and two draws. Then, in last round another shock. West Brom walked away with three points and again 1-2. In the days after the game, players were annoyed because the international brake that took them a chance to bounce back immediately. Good side is manager Nigel Pearson had enough time to stabilize the squad and focus them to pre-season target, play-off. Captain, Matt Oakley, misses the game as he is suspended after picking up five yellow cards, but his fellow midfielder Andy King returns in the squad after he recovered from an arm injury.
.
Plymouth made a run of three games without a defeat. Home draw against drowning Kean and Ipswich wasn’t unexpected, but making a nightmare from Strachan’s debut in Boro really was. 1-0 win at Riverside gave them the wings and lads defeated Doncaster (2-1) at home in next round. Manager Paul Sturrock is keen to stick with the formula that has provided two excellent wins, but his plans, however, may be disrupted by injury concerns over two of the heroes from those victories. Plymouth biggest strength are counter attacks through the flanks and excellent execution by Rory Fallon. Appearance of both wingers, Alan Judge and Craig Noone, will need to be assessed. I guess one will play. Also, Fallon scored the winning goal for his New Zealand and led them to WC. Long trip and lack of focus could reflect on his performance at Walkers. On-loan right-back, David Gray, will have a late fitness test, while captain Carl Fletcher is available again after serving a one-match ban.
.
Foxes will be focused and very serious. This could be a key game for them. Failure would dedicate their fate to the middle of the table, while win would returned them to the way for play-off. Difference in quality is obvious, Walkers is one of the worst place for visiting and despite Leicester have six wins with a single goal margin, I expect a convincing win. So, home win (1.76 at Pinnacle) and handicap as a gamble. Correct score 2-0.

The Hornets made an impressive run of five league games without a defeat. Two draws against Blackpool (2-2 at home) and Swansea City (1-1 away), while they beat Nottingham Forest (4-2 away) and in last two round Barnsley at home and Plymouth Argyle on the road, 1-0 both. It seems the departure of some their key players (the biggest was their talisman and key striker Tommy Smith to Portsmouth) haven’t made any serious impact to team’s shape. Club’s board returned striker Heidar Helguson (who already was playing for the club 1999-05.) and brought three on-loan players from Premier League. Under the leadership of Malky Mackay (who btw. is living his debut in manager business) everything looks fine, so far. But, on the second view, it can be seen their mentioned run of good results have been made against the teams from bottom half of the table. And last two wins were against Barnsley and Plymouth, clubs that belong to group of main contenders for relegation. And the true is, Watford simply don’t have enough quality for top-half, especially their short bench is a problem in a long season like in Championship. So, I expect their drop sooner or later. Sooner more probably. However, mentioned Helguson and another loan, defender Craig Cathcart are included in the squad for the game. Skipper Jay DeMerit should also be available after missing the last two matches with a groin injury.
Leicester made an impressive start in their returning season in Championship and already announced a battle for a play-off spot. Only defeat in seven opening games came from the most expensive club in the league – Newcastle (0-1 on the road). Players gathered a large amount of self confidence, being absolutely dominant in League One last season and at start of recent campaign in second tier, and already managed to underestimate somebody. In previous round against Peterborough at Walkers, visitors were absolutely dominant in the first half and took a lead. Matty Fryatt equalized from penalty kick in second part, couple chances were created, but only 1-1 draw at the end. Pale display didn’t make serious impact to dressing room atmosphere and Foxes go to Vicarage Road, hunting down their first away win. I think their displays so far warranted another good game and their hope for good result against Hornets has a reliable coverage. Experienced defender Wayne Brown has a shoulder injury and will be assessed before the Foxes line-up is decided, while another defender, Bulgarian Aleksandar Tunchev, needed 10 stitches in a head wound but he is expected to be passed fit. The Foxes have won five and drawn three of their last nine games at Vicarage Road.
It seems Watford’s run of five unbeaten games impressed the bookmakers that offered more than decent odd against them. Watford have been playing over their real capabilities, haven’t faced any team from the league’s top (except Sheff.Utd., 0-2 defeat) so far and they’ll surely face a drop at the table very soon. On the other hand, Leicester are play-off favorites from the shadow and I expect very good games from them through the season and following Foxes with bets should bring a nice income. Away win today should be considered as a gamble. I suggested a safer option with covering a draw, but odds arround 2.05 for dnb 2 are still high.
Maybe one more shorter analyze later. Cheers.

After just six rounds in the second tier, Leicester proved their pre-season high expectations have reliable cover. Club have no financial worries, squad is well balanced and eleven points in opening six rounds is just a sign of their high limits. At their Walkers Stadium, they’ve noticed all three wins (Swansea City 2-1, Barnsley 1-0 and Blackpool 2-1). Foxes also gathered a large amount of self confidence in their previous season in League One (1st place with 96 points and 84 scored goals on the balance) and don’t respect anyone even in higher level. Excellent striker Matty Fryatt (32 goals last season) started again to terrorize opposite’s goalkeepers. Five goals so far and both in Saturday’s home win over Blackpool (2-1). If they manage to keep their recent shape, Foxes will be the favorites against any opponent at Walkers, where they completed a calendar year without a league defeat. Manager Nigel Pearson has a full strength squad at his disposal bar midfielder and ex-skipper Stephen Clemence and defender Aleksandar Tunchev. Pearson also has raise a dressing room atmosphere saying he would not swap his squad for any other in the Championship.
Oppositely from tonight’s hosts, Peterboroug find it’s very difficult to collect points in the second tier, noticing their worst start to a season for 21 years. Three draws and same defeats from opening six rounds, with six goals scored and big ten conceded (just Scunthorpe have managed to concede more – 13). Strategy for backing on own forces hasn’t brought anything good, so far. Squad hasn’t been strengthened during the transfer market and visitors will face a tough season to avoid return to League One. However, yet they can consider themselves unlucky following a series of some good displays that have gone unrewarded. Last one was in Saturday’s draw (1-1) against favored QPR on the road. Lads showed some courage, attacked the hosts and took a lead in the opening stage of the game. Conceded a goal later, but was closer to victory. One their goal was cancelled in stoppage time and even QPR’s boss Jim Magilton said that his side were lucky to avoid defeat. Now Posh have to turn good displays in collecting the points. Well, Walkers Stadium is not the best place for improving the points balance, but maybe their luck will change. Boss Darren Ferguson will again be without his key defender Charlie Lee as his ankle injury has not yet healed and striker Ben Wright is also out.
Big winners against big losers. I can not say I’m smelling a rat, but won’t be surprised if Posh noticed a first win there where nobody expects. Home side have already added three points from this game on their account, while visitors will attack again. Instead home win, I see an open game and go for goals. 2.05 at Expekt. Over.

After three rounds in their returning season in Championship, Foxes are showing big potential and already announcing a battle for the top of the table. Club has no financial worries, ambitious chairman Milan Mandaric wrote off £14m worth of debt following relegation and even strengthened the squad with five signings where the biggest one is excellent midfielder Richie Wellens (from Doncaster). After opening win at Walkers against Swansea (2-1), team made two more decent results on the road. First against Ipswich (0-0), then against one of the strongest league teams – Sheffield United (1-1). More impressive than results is their attacking attitude independently from the opponent. They conquered League One with 96 points on the balance and 84 goals scored and simply haven’t used to respect anybody. However, draw in Sheffield stayed in the shadow of the injuries their two strikers, Steve Howard and Martyn Waghorn after both suffered hamstring injuries and there are fears that they could be ruled out for several weeks. Club’s management reacted immediately and have signed Blackburn Rovers striker Paul Gallagher who spent last season with Plymouth and scored 13 goals. Leicester are unbeaten in nine league games and in 21 league games at the Walkers Stadium.
After the previous season where club avoided relegation at the last day, new one started in the same manner. Club’s owner Patrick Cryne gave the last chance to manager Simon Davey, but squad stayed nearly the same, without any significant transfers. The only signing worth of mentioning is striker Onome Sodje from York City. In the opening game, Barnsley noticed a promising draw on the road, against Sheffield Wednesday (2-2). But, then came two shocking home defeats without a goal scored. First Coventry City took all three points (0-2), then Preston North End did the same (0-3). Against Preston, Barnsley conceded two goals in the first half and through the major part of the game weren’t the equal opponent on the pitch. One point from three games was enough to activate alarms at Oakwell and Davey becomes the main favorite to be first manager in Championship who will lose the job. Only goods news come from medical, striker Iain Hume (who has a key role in attack) is recovered and could play against his former club, while defender Rob Kozluk is available again after serving a ban. The Tykes also are hoping to get international clearance for Icelandic midfielder Emil Hallfredsson in time for him to play. In last six encounters of these opponents, Barnsley have noticed all six defeats.
This is the early stage of Championship and that calls on caution, but both sides already showed their ambitions and ultimate limits. Visitors will give the final effort to save their boss, but Walkers Stadium surely isn’t a place for correcting the errors. Foxes are full of enthusiasm, team shape is more than decent, Matty Fryatt in Sheffield scored again and I think home side is the big favorites here. Pinnacle offer 1.78. Home win. And visitors will try to score finally, which can cause a big over. So, small bet on over, Bwin at 2.20.

The season of great expectations started with unexpected defeat against Coventry on the road. Two early strikes by home star Clinton Morrison were enough, although Ipswich were dominating rest of the game, missing a lots of clear goal opportunities and it was a real wonder how they couldn’t avoid at least defeat. But, maybe the bigger blow is a loss of key midfielder David Norris. Keane has confirmed he is likely to be out for around four months after sustaining knee ligament damage. However, good performing continued in Carling Cup. Keano gave a chance to some youngsters who used it on the right way, especially teenager Connor Wickham who scored twice. But, passing weak Shrewsbury after penalties (3-3 regular) was hardly a plus in the chairman Marcus Evans’ notebook and Keane must start collecting the points in Championship. Always dangerous Leicester are coming to Portman Road and there’re no space for new mistake. Keane will order attack from the first whistle and we should watch an open game from the start. Beside mentioned Norris, Ipswich will be without defender Ben Thatcher who won’t face his former club as he still isn’t fit after his own knee injury and forward Pablo Counago is out with a groin problem. Home side obviously has a potential, performance against Coventry was more than decent, but they still need show a first round was just a bad day.
New campaign in the second tier of English football, Leicester started with a win against Swansea at their Walkers stadium. Home fans passed through the torture during the first half, as visitors took a lead and Steve Howard missed to equalize from a penalty kick. Under the guidance of Nigel Pearson, thankfully to excellent physically condition of the players, Leicester became known as a “second-half team”. And once again, they decided a game in the second period with two strikes by two substitutions, Martyn Waghorn and Danny N'Guessan. During the mid-week, Leicester also had a successful appearance in Carling Cup, against League Two side – Macclesfield (2-0 win). It is still far from any kind of euphoria, but though nobody at Walkers isn’t saying loud, play-off became a season objective. Players are full of confidence and all hope they can make a serious impact in the Championship this season. In League One, Leicester used to attack and there’s no doubt, they’re traveling to Portman Road for a win. Beside they don’t know to defend, boss Nigel Pearson will try with attacks to use the holes in Ipswich’s shaky defence line. Right-back Robbie Neilson has served a ban and is likely to make his debut, while midfielder Andy King and defender Aleksandar Tunchev are both pushing for a place after returning from midweek international duty.
In Ipswich, still nobody feels a fire under the feet, but two bad results at the start can judge another season for a middle of the table. On the other hand, after two excellent games in league and cup, visitors got the wings and they surely don’t think about anything less than three points. I can’n give the advantage to any side, but see bet on goals as a very good choice. Pinnacle offer 2.00. Over.

After they spent a year in League One, Leicester earned an immediate return to the second tier of English football. The way how Foxes conquered the league gives a believe Championship isn’t a highest level that club can reach. Team was superior especially at their home Walkers Stadium, they’re unbeaten in their last 20 home matches (eleven wins and nine draws) since losing to Millwall last September. Ambitious chairman Milan Mandaric (ex Portsmouth) put the play-off spot as the objective for the forthcoming season. Club signed five players, midfielder Richie Wellens (from Doncaster), young defender Jack Hobbs from Chelsea, winger Dany N'Guessan (Lincoln) and two defenders Wayne Brown (Hull) and Robbie Neilson (Hearts). With a leadership by excellent manager Nigel Pearson, seems team has a potential to achieve the objective. To make the things not so good, took care team star and the best striker from previous season, Matty Fryatt who has a leg infection and only played half an hour in pre-season. Captain Stephen Clemence is still recovering from injury which separated him from the field almost whole previous season, while vice-captain, midfielder Matt Oakley has recovered from a knock sustained last weekend and he’ll play. New loan signing from Sunderland, forward Martyn Waghorn will have his debut.
In the previous season, Swansea had a dream debut in Championship, playing much over the expectations and at the end almost caught a play-off, finishing at 8th place. Now have to cope with the “second season” syndrome when teams usually lost all enthusiasm that playing in higher league provokes and the majority of pre-season opinion is that they will struggle to replicate last season's results. Beside that, Welsh side suffered three significant losses over the summer, with maybe the best manager in Championship last year, Roberto Martinez and top scorer Jason Scotland both moving to Wigan. Excellent midfielder Jordi Gomez, little later also joined Wigan. The biggest signing is ex QPR manager Paulo Sousa. From the same club came midfielder Jordi Lopez, striker Stephen Dobbie came from Queen of the South, while last season on loan winger Nathan Dyer signed a permanent deal. Sousa has some injury concerns for the season opener. Winger Tom Butler is out following hernia surgery, as are midfielders Ferrie Bodde (knee) and excellent Darren Pratley (shoulder). The Welsh club have lost their opening league fixture in each of the last three years.
After one year of domination in League One, Foxes are full of confidence, spirits are high and it seems Nigel Pearson probably couldn’t wish a better opponent for the opener than weakened Swansea. First round calls on limited stake, but home win. 2.30 at Pinnacle.
