Good night after all. I was so annoyed when Colchester turned the game from 0-1 to 2-1 and then conceded for a draw. Then I paid attention on the other results... Complete chaos! I wasn't even thinking about Cardiff and QPR, but plenty of shocking results. Leeds, Nott Forest, Bristol Rovers, Hudders, Rotheram, Peterborough... Last 3 weeks in England are real mine field. But... Most important thing. My September is green, finally!!! Yes!

Colchester are very good League One side and they’re only League One side that still haven’t notice a defeat in the opening 8 rounds. They have five draws, but should be mentioned their tough schedule and playing against top league clubs (draws against Sheff Wed, Carlisle, Plymouth and S’ton and win over Rochdale). In previous round Colchester defeated Tranmere, scoring three times in the first half of hour, making it very comfortable. Two defenders, Pat Baldwin and Brian Wilson, will face a late fitness test.
After eight rounds, Daggers have collected only 6 points and it seems their adventure in the higher level will hardly last longer than a season. Just one point on the road in previous four games with goal difference 2-8. If there’s any reason for the optimism, it’s last round draw at Charlton. However, I don’t really think they can play two away games on that level twice in four days. They’ll miss two defenders for tonight’s game, Will Antwi and Abu Ogogo.
After tough games, Colchester should feel relaxation to see Daggers on the other half of the pitch. Another 3 points should launch them to the top. Smell of Championship could be the strongest motivation. Home win, 2-0 correct score.

Hartlepool are 16th, seven points far from first under the line Tranmere (Tranmere have a game in hand), but the problem is they’re charged from FA for fielding an ineligible player (Gary Liddle) and could be fined for three points and then would have 45 not 48 on balance. So, they won’t lack in motivation and will go for a win. Their shape at home looks impressive, four wins and a defeat of last five games. All wins were against bottom side clubs, but also all were with two or three goals margin. Defender Sam Collins is probably out after suffering a hip injury against Stockport, while mentioned midfielder Gary Liddle returns to the squad after completing his two-match ban for receiving 10 yellow cards.
Colchester are watching how their play-off dreams vanishing thankfully to their terrible record on the road. They’ve noticed five consecutive away defeats (didn’t score in last three), while in total have just one win of last ten league games. They also weren’t happy last night, watching Huddersfield who beat Milwall, so they’re now six points far from play-off line. My impression is they practically have no chance for 6th spot and they’re all aware of it. Good news is experienced striker Kevin Lisbie will be in the line-up after served his suspension. Same situation is with winger Anthony Wordsworth.
This will be a tough game for sure, but I’m little surprised with the odds for home side and think they’re little higher than should be. I give an advantage to Hartlepool and even DNB with these odds is a very good bet for me. Pinnacle offer 1.85, 1 DNB.

1.35 for Barca’s win in this stage of CL is a rubbish for me. Although I can’t really see any different outcome. Odds on goals are insult as well. Won’t get involved in this game.
Russian team is a kind of mystery for me. I have an impression CSKA look better on the road, than at home. Tonight, it looks only advantage will be artificial grass. As far as I’m aware, Italians haven’t played on it.
I can’t imagine Inter losing after knocked out Chelsea. In such occasions, when stronger club play for a draw (I guess Mourinho would be absolutely satisfied with 1-1) game usually ends with a draw. This is my only bet today. Gamble on a draw.
Huddersfield have noticed 6 home games without a win. They fight for a play-off, but Oldham do that for their lives. And I have some ugly feeling, we’ll see Colchester in play-off. 1.55? No way.

Clive Platt scored the only goal as Colchester dented Millwall's hopes of winning automatic promotion.
Platt headed home a Mark Yeates cross with seven minutes remaining.
Gary Alexander, who later went off with a head injury, went close to a first-half opener for the Lions but his header was saved by Mark Cousins.
The Colchester keeper saved from David Martin after the break while Millwall stopper David Forde denied David Perkins before Platt struck.

Millwall holds third position in League One. It seems they can't drop under the play-off line, 10 points more and a game less than 7th Tranmere. But, they see their chance for direct promotion. Five points and game less than 2nd Peterborough Utd., if they win Colchester will be two. Plus, Peterborough will face Oldham away for the weekend, Millwall will host Walsall. Millwall won six from last seven games, loosing only against Leicester City (at home 0-1). Very interesting fact is all games they won with a goal difference (four times 1-0). Maybe it says something about the mental strength, surely I don't think it is a luck. Big problem for tonight's game is missing Neil Harris (club's legend) because of a facial injury, meaning on-loan striker Jason Price should step in. Defender Richard Duffy faces a late fitness test while midfielder Nadjim Abdou (personal reasons) is doubtful.
Colchester Utd. lies on 13th position with no real chance to move up or down. But, the problem with this squad is their crazy spirit. In one round they loose against Crewe at home 0-1, in the next game play excellent and grab a point against the best league team away, Leicester City 1-1. They have no motive, play for fun. They are bad against outsiders, but thirsty for blood against favorites. Typical team for avoiding. Boss Paul Lambert could name an unchanged starting eleven. They will be without midfielder Johnnie Jackson (hamstring) while defender Chris Coyne is still on international duty with Australia.
Usually, I would skip this one, watching my own business, but poor football offer forced me to think about it. Pinnacle offer 1.88, Expekt 1.80 for home win. I don't think it worths of serious bet. I will gamble, small stake. Odd for handicap win is about 3.00 and I'll take it. Last han. win was against Leeds United 18.10.2008.! (Yes, I have crazy spirit, too.) Anyway, what else you can do on tuesday night?!
